A re-inforced floor that takes it all

The ingeniously re-designed and cargo-perfected interior configuration perfectly matches the requirements of today’s cargo carriers. Compared to the original passenger configuration, the interior measurements of the full Fokker50Freighter have substantially expanded. With the seven cargo segments with 9-G vertical separation nets evenly spaced throughout the cabin, full advantage is taken of the entire length of the interior. More floor beams and a new floor were installed to allow bulk floor loading up to 488 kgs/m² throughout the full cargo cabin length of 14.45 m (47.4 feet) and a 60 cu.m. (2.120 cu.ft.) interior cargo capacity.

Our basic E-class compartment is divided into cargo bay areas separated by seven 9-G vertical nets. The loading sectors are clearly labelled with their maximum load capabilities and loading restrictions. The freighter cabin is divided into cargo zones with placarded zone loading. An extra 9-G separation net was designed in the front cargo door area to utilize the 60 m³ interior cargo volume to best advantage.

Cabin height is superior to contemporary propeller aircraft for bulk loaded-, containerized- or palletized- cargo loading. The inside cabin walls are finished with protective liner shields, to guard against damage.
