A certificated standard cargo cabin configuration

The Fokker50Freighter E-Class concept-design goes beyond simply transforming a passenger aircraft into one with a cargo interior. Its ingeniously re-designed and perfected interior configuration perfectly matches the needs of cargo carriers. Structural parts and hard points were installed for the seven 9-G vertical separation nets throughout the entire cabin. The full internal structure has been closely examined and the re-inforced floor structure incorporates extra frames.

A new Dimension of Easy On/Off Capability

In order to optimize cabin height throughout the entire cabin and particularly in the mid-wing section, careful attention was given to re-designing that part of the interior and increasing the cabin height. As much extraneous material and equipment as feasible was stripped in order to create space for as much freight as possible within the measurements of a Fokker50Freighter.

The result is a maximum overall bulk load of 7.700-kg tons (17,000 lbs) interior with a maximum cabin volume of 60 cubic meters. The new freighter floor is lined flush with the original seat tracks for simple, fast, and easy loading.

The floor panels are 0.4 inches thick for a surface level “flush” with the tops of the seat tracks. The seat tracks are retained for securing cargo.
